Glencadam 15 Years Old is an exceptional and often overlooked Highland single malt, representing excellent value. This whisky, entirely matured in American oak bourbon casks, is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration and retains its natural colour. It has garnered significant acclaim, including an impressive score of 98 out of 100 at the 2022 International Wine & Spirits Competition. The nose delights with fragrant, spicy aromas of gingerbread and cinnamon, complemented by bright citrus, orchard fruit, and subtle beeswax. On the palate, oak char, marmalade, pineapple slices, and white grapes take the lead, supported by rum spice, coconut milk, and Corinth raisins. The finish is characterised by fresh fruit notes, with nuances of toasted oak.
